Clary was home alone. Luke was at the hospital with her mother. Clary would have gone with him but she had gone earlier in the day and so she was just hanging out, trying to draw but not being able to. She knows she should probably sleep but she just can't. She's too worried about her mother--and,though she wouldn't like to admit it, too upset about the whole Jace issue. So she just sighs in frustration as she tries to think of something to draw besides random runes. Then she hears a knock on the door. She frowns. Had Luke forgotten his key? She heads to the door with a smile and opens it to see Simon. She was surprised to see him since they had gone through a bit of a rough patch in their friendship lately after he had confessed his feelings and she hadn't felt the same way. Still, she's always happy to see her best friend. "Simon...hey. What brings you here?"
