Sun-Gazing Blindness
---I’m going to repeat this rhetorical question again because it at least deserves some degree of contemplation: Since we seem to need to be told all the time not to stare at the Sun else we go blind, then why aren’t most other mammals actually blind as well being that nobody can ever really communicate such knowledge to them? You’d think that they’d be looking at it quite frequently when outdoors. If they just know not to instinctively, then why wouldn’t we have the same instinct? Why do we feel the need to warn ourselves about it? Do animals have better instincts than humans? Perhaps a lot of humans are instinctively dumber than most animals. Anyway, it’s something to think about and perhaps for science to study...
