[TRANS] Girls' Generation's <Into The New World> will reborn as a classical piece

On March 31st, the orchestra version of Girls' Generation's debut and mega-hit single will be released.

The single will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 31st as a collaboration between SM Classics, a classic label of SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as SM), and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. The music video will also available on YouTube via the SMTOWN account.

The orchestra rendition of ITNW transforms the original song's bright & hopeful mood into a colorful & rich orchestral sound, including woodwind & brass instruments, to present a new charm.

Furthermore, by sampling Sir Edward Elgar's <Pomp and Circumstance March>, a well-known piece of classical music, at the beginning & second half of the song, it is expected to generate a warm response as it adds meaning to musical praise for the path that Girls' Generation, the 'K-pop Legend Girl Group,' has walked.

Also, the music video for the orchestra version of <Into the New World> is likely to catch people's attention because it not only features a grand performance by the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, but it also includes clips from Girls' Generation's past music videos and stage performances to look back on memories.

As part of its content business, SM Classics wants to grow a number of businesses, such as arranging and performing K-pop in different ways that sound like classical music.
