i do t shots and they gave me fuckin two inch needles last batch and even though i’m a paramedic and know better i stuck them all the way in out of habit. bruising + pain for days afterward. all this to say: spread the skin with your fingers, go in at as much of a right angle as possible, and don’t insert more than 1” :) (spreading the skin allows for bounceback of muscular tissue afterwards, preventing bleeding and allowing the medication to stay inside your body instead of bubbling up)

oh my god all the way in YEOWCH… mine are 1.5” thank god, two inchers are insane. i def haven’t been spreading the skin enough, i might get phil to help me next time lol
