This colab sprung from a conversation with @robotlovesong13 where we were discussing the finer points of crawling up in a robots vagina only to find graffiti inside the *cave*.

Happy Solstice!

It’s the first day of summer and I’m wearing jeans and a sweatshirt, wrapped in a blanket, and tucked into a mummy sleeping bag rated to -20 degrees in our little tent.

And my feet are still cold. I should have remembered to pack socks...

I took The Intrepid Explorer to a reptile show. He held and snuggled 15+ snakes. He had a wonderful time and my skin is still crawling.

Decided to draw Intrepid in some snow clothes because omg, it's freaking cold out here. So let it snow, Intrepid! Let it SNOW!

Y'know, a lot of the artists I follow have a mascot or an artistic avatar/manifestation of themselves. For me, this little dude/dudette is mine.

Say hello to the Intrepid Explorer! This is one of the default doodles I do when I want to draw but really don't want to draw anything. Simple and expressive in its actions, Intrepid an adventurous little critter who often wears it's heart on its sleeve. It's emotions manifest as energy or appendages (such as wings and claws). Sometimes its entire form can change, but only for a little while. Then it has to revert back to its normal form.

Believe it or not, this is how I see myself when I'm writing or drawing. A simple yet expressive creature that has the ability to create yet limited time and energy to do so. I hope to use it much more often as I continue to gain confidence in my pictures and writings! :3
