he’s  been  smoking  marijuana  behind  the  building  for  awhile  now ,  awaiting  a  client  to  arrive  in  search  of  other  substances .  when  he  catches  sight  of  her ,  eyes  her  up  &  down ,  he  pauses ,  blunt  betwixt  digits lowered ,  a  raise  of  brows .      ❛       YOU’RE  NOT  SHAWN ,  ARE  YOU ?     ❜      he  hopes  not ,  he’d  had  a  conflicting  image  in  mind .

“--what’s that scowl for? c’mon, it was just a JOKE, kath! and a funny one at that.”

( perhaps it’s the fact that the joke was at her father’s expense is what has ticked her off, or maybe just the crude language he’d paired with it doesn’t sit well with her, but regardless jack is oblivious to whatever wrongdoing he’d just committed. )
