RESILIENCE, THE D.LIGHTS DOCUMENTARY / ARNO BITSCHY PROJET MENÉ PAR LE LABEL Jarring Effects (2015, 52 min)
This is a joint from the vaults. I didn't even know it existed anymore. Was initially supposed to be on Intricate Dialect's album, "KEMET", a brilliant album about the country of Egypt. My bro seriously did his homework on that (here's a link.... http://abprojects.com/album/kemet). Anyway, this joint didn't make the final cut for the album. I hadn't heard it since the night we recorded it over Eddie Logix studio when I stumbled upon it two weeks ago. The track is produced by Shady EV, a cat I hope to work with on some more joints in the near future. Oh by the way, this joint is the first track I'm leaking off my upcoming EP, "Hidden Gems", which will be released in the early spring of 2013.
New album called Everything Must Change with Tenacity on the mic and myself on production along with guest appearances from Intricate Dialect, Kadence, Leaf Erikson, S.A. the Abolitionist, and Shi Dog. Available now for digital download on itunes HERE or on bandcamp via the player below.

"With Everything Must Change Ann Arbor / Los Angeles emcee Tenacity delivers a challenging and thought-provoking meditation on social injustices. Backed by the rich, soulful beats of Detroit super-producer Eddie Logix, the Abolitionist Crew member deploys his deft wordplay and penetrating insight into diagnosing the ills of the modern world and illuminating the path to a brighter future."
Brand new animated video from the almighty Intricate Dialect for a track that I produced called "Thutmose ID". The video was directed by Alexis "LEX" Franklin. The song is available on ID's 2011 Kemet release as well as the 2011 Aptemal presents Detroit Hustles Harder Vol. 1 compilation.
New music video from the homie Intricate Dialect for the song "See Me Locally" featuring S.A. and produced by Charles Trees. The song comes from I.D.'s long lost release titled, "Periods". The video was shot, directed, and edited by I.D. entirely on his iphone...check it out.
Intricate Dialect - Horizontal
Dig this video for a few reasons of the top of the head.
The song is dope
The video is beautifully low budget and conveys a message
It really speaks to the DIY ethic that I want to fortify in 2012. ID didn't wait for cats. It looks like he just made it happen with this video.
It made videos important in my mind. I have heard this song before but slept on it somehow. When I saw the video it made the song complete. Sometimes you have to speak through multiple creative mediums to fully convey your message.
At the end of the day fuck the reasons though. It's enjoyable to listen to and watch so just enjoy the shit and don't think so much about why for now. lol.
Here's the new music video from Intricate Dialect for a song I produced called "Real M.F." off of his latest album, "Kemet". The video was shot and directed Joe Petrous and Ken Brewton and features some cameos from local talents such as Detroit CYDI, CrateDigga, and 2040. If you are not yet up on the brilliance that is "Kemet", the album is available at a name-your-price rate HERE.
