Reveal: I've flown to sweet Seattle for the annual #nwchocolatefestival, where I'll cheer for chocolate maker clients, give a talk to festival attendees, see old friends and new, scout the city, and enjoy a lot of first-class chocolate! 💜 One of my first stops was to #intriguechocolate, for the luscious lavender hot chocolate (I chose a vegan version: just add water!) and to talk shop in historic and picturesque Pioneer Square, "Seattle's first neighborhood" and a thoroughly delicious part of town! #SeattleNovember2017 (at Intrigue Chocolate Co.)

Hidden treasure in Pioneer Square

I had my wife, 2 of my kids and a buddy of one of those kids join me for lunch today at the office.  We ate at a fun little dinner called Planet Java.  Afterwords we stumbled onto a little gourmet chocolate shop called Intrigue Chocolate.  We had some samples, bought some truffles and the owner let us ride the old freight elevator back down to street level.  Cool way to start the 3 day weekend... finding hidden treasures downtown.
