hello this is madness hahaha i’m back on the tumblr side of things which i haven’t been for a long time since… before the pandemic? yeah, i’m now old.
when i was active, i had three blogs - @crybaby-in-bloom was the blog i call home for personal things, @1950smouseketeers was my fan blog for the original version of the mickey mouse club, and @flourishevas-blog was my gymnastics fan account. I’ll likely make new posts for the latter two, but will have the former remain untouched to preserve my younger self. It may be cringe but feel free to look at that to see how far i’ve come.
So… here’s my new blog, The Maarte Dossier (also known as Return of the Crybaby to commemorate the connection it has to crybaby in bloom). This will be more of “a space of organized mess” where i get to be myself with the randomness i post and reblog, but it has a sense of cohesion in which it’s all about things i love and become passionate about. You’ll know when it happens, but trust me to make some good about this thing.
Over here, you will see how far i’ve gone with the design side of things (i mean i work now as a graphic designer after taking a college course that has something to do with design) and mull over thoughts about things i like. I’ll also write some things and will likely repeatedly bear on how long i write stuff. And i’ll also have some new faves on display to see how i like things that resonate with me in the present.
Lastly, i want to make this space something of a solace after handling a bunch of stress for the past few weeks. I want to find my inner love for creating and advocating (especially as an autistic person) so i guess this is a good place for these sort of things. Yay!
