Para mí, la soledad no es --ni ha sido-- sólo una palabra sino todo un estilo de vida... No es algo con lo que juegue al escribir o al expresar lo que siento, tampoco es una idea que utilice para llamar la atención de la gente que cree que estar solo es sentirse mierda.

La soledad es un estado del ser, un convivir en armonía con el Universo y el mundo que me rodea --así como el que me habita--. Estar solo es encontrarme con la luz y la oscuridad que llevo en las entrañas y en las marañas de mi mente que no se cansa de parir realidades en la hoja blanca.

“El hombre de la soledad” nació de ese estado contemplativo con el que he vivido desde que abrí los ojos en este espacio llamado Tierra, no es sólo una línea que describe mi situación, sino un emblema que define mi existir.

¿Qué sería del hombre sin la soledad? Quizás, estaría ahogado de penumbras ruidosas o de esbozos claros de una luz cegadora que no le dejarían avanzar, pues, para alcanzar cierto equilibrio se necesita de la complacencia del espíritu.

El hombre se ha de dar la oportunidad para conocerse, para saberse, para entenderse, para descifrarse y, por ende, comunicarse consigo mismo como con los demás. Y es ahí, en el centro de la soledad, en donde yace la semilla de la reflexión.

Solitude is a state of being, a living in harmony with the Universe and the world that surrounds me - as well as the world that inhabits me. To be alone is to find myself with the light and the darkness that I carry in my entrails and in the tangles of my mind that never tires of giving birth to realities on the white sheet of paper."The man of solitude" was born from that contemplative state with which I have lived since I opened my eyes in this space called Earth, it is not only a line that describes my situation, but an emblem that defines my existence.What would a man be without solitude? Perhaps, he would be drowned in noisy gloom or in clear outlines of blinding light that would not allow him to move forward, for, in order to reach a certain balance, the complacency of the spirit is needed. Man must give himself the opportunity to know, to understand, to decipher himself and thus to communicate with himself as well as with others. And it is there, in the centre of solitude, that the seed of reflection lies. "I give myself the grace of being alone, for that is how I will be able to reach myself".
