Xion kept a blank face as she stepped into the building, removing her disguises as she entered the police department. While Xion was in her element, playing up her mafia persona, she only had one true alignment, and that was with the other deputies. A double agent she was, and a good one at that she’d like to think! Thus far, no suspicion had been thrown her way toward her alias. It was insanely hard to forget sometimes who she even was when she put on her new face.  And perhaps it was one of the most beloved aspects of what she did.  “Hello! Has any new leads been found while i’ve been away?” She questioned as she made her way over to a colleague of hers.

The sweet melodies of the band playing in the jazz club allowed for the redhead to happily sway along to the rhythm without a care in the world.  That is all about what he wished could continue to be the case for the night. Though it wasn’t unusual for the air of the club to be tense as intense eyes searched for whatever answers they sought after, or perhaps purely for other purposes which Pax didn’t particularly want to get into. Despite the uneasiness he felt at times, he liked to enjoy what he did! While it had its cons, he had fun with it at least, and he felt content with it. His attention fell upon a familiar face, to which he offered his usual welcoming smile as a silent hello.  As his little performance came to an end, he decided to greet them. “Hey, hey. Are you enjoying your night?”

“These bandages are too tight,” Shouto commented haggardly still trying to build up his strength. The moroi used what strength he had to sit up and give the other in the room a dry look. He probably should’ve been more thankful, but he was too delirious and weak to think about pleasantries. An incident had occurred a few days prior that resulted in him being kidnapped and held for ransom due to his family’s lineage. His super strength and speed had gained him the upper hand to escape, albeit tired and weakened. His memory of the incident went up to him passing out on some dirt path.

Which somehow lead to right now where he was being taken care of by a werewolf. “I won’t be able to heal properly,” He mumbled lifting shaking hands and trying to loosen the wrap. // @groundzcro

That idiot! That blockhead!

Ae-ra was tempted to grab the cauldron from the backroom and smash it into that gargoyle’s empty head. It would certainly give her the opportunity to release the steam bottled up inside her. Mikron was just as upset as she was, though the stonemason was out buying more materials to build a new arm and for her to magic one.

She was pacing the floor, remnants of a broken arm in her hands. The statue was moved from its post outside to the center of the room. The sun was beginning to drip, it was only a matter of time before that idiot woke up from his ‘sleep’ and she could get to the bottom of this. // @thegroundshakes

Biffy could feel the sun’s warmth fade, the light disappearing behind the horizon and bathing the world in a low light. The moment the heat left his skin, the stone of his body began to soften, his body creaking as he slowly moved before the change finished. The moment he was free, Biffy spread out his wings, stretching and bones cracking from the too still position.

Opening his eyes to peer around the world, they focused on the all too familiar eyes staring up at him.

“Ahh, great,” Biffy grunted, stony face already set in a scowl. “If it isn’t the creator and the bane of my existence. What do you want?” // @jfc-jinx

"It is nice to see you again. You seem well, don't you?" The boss stated as he stared his companion down with his steel toned eyes. The redhead had a usually busy schedule, but he made the time to see certain people when he could. Higa and Naraka were assisting him in his duties for the moment while he stopped to chat. Alma Fudoh, well known in the underground crime scene as a hero of sorts due to how often he extended a branch for those in need within this city of New York. From generous donations, to other aids, the redhead had garnered quite the reputation. But to the outside world, or more specifically the police, he was merely an enigma. And that is the way he preferred it.

Life’s So Boring // Reese&Kari

When Reese had first seen the girl walking through walls, admittedly her first reaction had been fear. It was only after taking a moment to process things that it clicked with her how ridiculous that was, and she was even able to laugh at herself a bit over it. A ghost afraid of ghosts.

It had never really occurred to her that she hadn’t seen any others of her kind throughout her death. If she’d ever stopped to think about it, she’d likely have dismissed it by reasoning she had, and had just never noticed them acting ghosty. Now that she’d noticed one, it was actually kind of exciting!

Floating along after her, Reese ignored the startled reactions of the people she flew through, her passing sending chills down their spines. This was an opportunity that she wasn’t going to pass up for anything!

With Indefatigable Wings//B&G

It figures, one of the few times he wandered away from camp, Baran was almost immediately beset by one of those evil beasts of the sky; birds. He’d been just about to charge a deer he’s spotted, knowing just how good a stew Jinx could make with it, when he’d felt the splat on his shoulder. He hadn’t even had to look to know what it was.

With a roar, the deer forgotten as it retreated from the noise, Baran turned his eyes to the sky, searching for the bastard. He could only just make out the beast once it flew across the moon, a brief flash of green, its shadow sliding over his face as if it were mocking him. Another roar, this one more than a challenge and out of anger, and he was off, flying as fast as his wings would carry him to catch up to the winged spawn of demons.

Either he’d be returning the favor or simply crushing it between his fingers, he was catching that damned bird.
