(↣)- Was that...? "Niisan?!" He rushed towards him, almost as if he were on fire, like his life depended on it! Faster and faster, he was here! His Niisan was here! 

"Niisan, Niisan, Niisannnnn!" He cried out, pent up relief as well as unbridled joy seemingly flowing out from him at the prospect of seeing his beloved brother. But as soon as he got closer, just close enough to get a closer look his heart shattered. 

Oh... 

It wasn't his Niisan after all, he had been mistaken. But of course, why would Niisan be here way out in the Feudal Era? Didn't he say he was staying behind with the clan and would wait for him in the 30th Century? Dummy Saffiru! 

"S-Sorry... I thought you were someone else..." His eyes shifted towards the ground, refusing to look the man in the eye, the look he gave off now was almost heartbreakingly sad.

Has it become a routine for the girl to fall asleep in the yard of True Cross Academy? Maybe. Mostly under that one tree off to the side, the huge one that gives lots of shade. Either way, she really should stop before it becomes a habit, but that might be too late. 

Maybe someone should try and wake her up before she ends up staying there the night . . .

Azula looked around curiously, not quite sure where she was.  A dream?  A hallucination?  The colours of the sky and terrain around her were so much brighter than she was used to...was this the Spirit World?  The young man she set eyes on certainly did nothing to disprove that idea.  White hair and...were those dog ears?

"Where am I?" she demanded sharply.

It had been a long day without doing much traveling. When the group all separated like they had today, Inuyasha couldn't do much without them, and he was too stubborn to follow Kagome back to her time, unless she was in danger or she was later coming back than she said. That hadn't changed despite them being mates now, but then, their relationship hadn't really changed at all. It was just more intimate. Things were still the same. And the hanyou couldn't be happier about it. But not today... he hated waiting around for everyone to come back. He was just stuck here.

Grumbling, he leaned back against the Bone Eater's well, located in the very forest that was named after him. His arms went back behind his head, and he looked up at the sky. He didn't like being away from her for too long, especially now with the mating mark... sometimes it hurt. But she said she wouldn't be gone long.

He just had to wait.

Unfortunately, that wasn't something he liked to do.

Lonely Hanyou / littlewolfprincess / AU

Kagome was late. She said she'd be back in five days, and another had passed since then. So, he'd come to get her, only to find out from her mother that she'd unexpectedly been dragged off by her friends to go on a trip, having said something about 'celebrating grades', whatever that meant. The only thing he understood was that she wouldn't be back for two more days.

Grumbling, the hanyou walked down the street, hands stuffed inside of his pockets, baseball cap covering his ears as usual. Golden eyes stared at the ground, not paying any attention to those that walked by. It didn't appear as though he had any real destination in mind, though he was considering just going back home. He wasn't picking up Kagome's scent from anywhere here...

After a few minutes, Inuyasha finding himself back at the shrine, he sighed and jumped in. There was nothing here to do without Kagome, after all. Sure, her family was nice... but it felt almost awkward around them without her. He landed down at the bottom of the well, seeing sky above him. He was home.

He jumped up.

Painting pictures was all this nine year old did, it seemed. The white-haired male had come to St. Mariana’s for adoption, as there was no other reason— it was Adoption Party Day. A day where the little boys and girls of St. Mariana’s Orphanage ran around and played and partied while willing parents chose which one (or ones) they wanted to adopt.

Parties were not of Gypsy’s activities, so he stayed and painted in the art room. However, he didn’t realize he was humming— until someone asked who he was. Jumping a bit in his seat and nearly scuffing up his painting, the boy turned. On his neck and wrists were silken chokers the color of pale gold, his jewel blue eyes looking curiously at the dog-eared man. His little orphan boy’s uniform was impeccably clean— even with the pant all over his fingers and the few paint smudges on his face.

“Hello there…” His voice as a mixture of Eastern Indian and light Russian— perhaps even a bit of Estonian, too.
