They are friends!
This post is a bit of a psa for my isopod (and springtail!) hobbyist/keeper followers, especially those who are just starting: I would avoid this seller. Microterra labs:
I found them when I was searching for images of orange scabers, and one of theirs caught my eye as a morph I had never seen before:
But, I thought it didn’t really look like a scaber, closer to a laevis. Then as I was inspecting further I couldn’t shake that something was weird about it, so I looked at the rest of the website.
Sure enough: All of the images on their listings are ai-generated. Some are very convincing, and could be easy to miss if you’re not an expert or don’t make a hobby of looking at isopods all the time like I do (lol).
I’m not sure if they actually sell live bugs or not, or if anything arrives when you purchase. I can find no reviews of the business and no real images of their product, so I would definitely avoid this site if I was looking to purchase isopods.

My gorgeous little guy 🧡 I believe he’s now around 2 years old :)
This is so cool.
Tell me you've never wanted a molting cicada plushie. It's got iridescent wings. LOOK AT IT.
Also got a pitcher plant backpack...with a doomed caterpillar. Sorely tempted.
(he also makes glow in the dark plants) (and breeds monstera) (and has a free downloadable guide to plant breeding for cool characteristics)
anyway support independent artists or something? that make cool things?
Pulchriphyllium giganteum molting timelapse, recorded on December 14th!
Showed this to my gf asking "why do I love this thing so much" and she just told me "cause it's another stupid animal"
