Alright, so some of you may have seen my reblog about me doing soul searching and realizing I’ve been a dumb this whole time, so I’m going to make this an official post so I can link it to my Pinned Post I have going in case others ever need it! I’m not sure if this is weird, or pretentious of me to do this, but I get worried some people may think they’re not allowed to do these things, so I’ll list them here anyway. I hope you all don’t mind!

You may absolutely adopt any of my headcanons, and make them your own. This would be cool! Spread them around, cause I love my headcanons, so to see them around more would be freaking 100/10! 

You may absolutely use my versions of the boys in your stories/fics, you never have to ask, but I’d love to see it when it’s posted so I may reblog it for all to see!

Go ahead and use any original name I’ve come up with (Sparrow, Vi)! Spread them around! Doesn’t bother me at all, and in fact that’d be pretty cool. 

If you want to use the term Main 14, or Main whatever, it’s NEVER my place to stop you. It never was, and I was so dumb for ever feeling weird about that. It’s an open term for all to use. From now on, I’ll be referring to my versions of the skeletons as “Mage’s Main 14″ to distinguish myself! I apologize for ever making that other post in the first place. I hope you can forgive me!

You may always use my fics as inspiration for your own. You never have to ask permission for this. However, if you do use the “Inspired By” link, I will always link your fic to mine so others can see it, and you can get more love! 

And now for the big one, and the one that I think really needs to happen...

You do not have to ask me to use the Inverto and The Facility anymore. All I ask for is that if you post it online, or on AO3, that in your beginning notes in the first chapter that you put, “Original Concepts for Inverto and The Facility created by AbsurdMageArt”. That’s it, and it only has to go in that first chapter! You don’t have to keep repeating it! It would also be very kind of you to link it back to my tumblr as well. That would make me happy!

If you use the “Inspired By” link I will link it to Making A Monster! I’d love if what you guys create gets seen more!

You may change any of the concepts I created for Inverto and The Facility for your own fics. You may make your own headcanons for it, and have fun with it. I’d love to see what you all come up with should you choose to do so!

And there we are! If I think of anything else I meant to add I’ll fix this later, but hopefully this didn’t come off as weird, or anything! I just felt it needed to be said. I adore being able to inspire, and to know that maybe out there that someone can find a creative spark thanks to something I do is the best reward in the whole world.

In one of the more recent chapters lissa describes testing that was done on her and it seemed pretty harmless… is it possible that she had more.. harmful testing on her..? D: ?!

Don't worry, all testing done on Inverto was harmless!

All of it was to gather data on best how to help them and the new capabilities of their new bodies. It was also done to make sure the Inverto were okay and no sick, or hurting in their new forms. It was all beneficial, but that doesn't mean it didn't get tiresome after a while!

I was thinking and I'm not sure if you answered this already, forgive me if you have! Do half-blood children have a longer life span because of their monster father or do they have the lifespan of a human? Is it in the middle?

Half bloods do have longer lifespans thanks to their monster parent yes. The human in the pairing also has a longer lifespan as well since they've become a mage by birthing, or assisting in providing magic to the baby during gestation. Their lifespan would match that of their parent, so for example...

If Blue had a baby with a human (regardless of gender) that baby would have the same 3000+ lifespan that Blue has.

This is also the same for Inverto. If Lissa (from MaM) has a baby this baby will share her 3000+ year lifespan.

First off, I want to tell you that I hope you're doing well, and you truly are not disappointing anyone when you take breaks or choose not to do certain requests anymore. Second, I was wondering if you think invertos are able to have children. Can Lissa go from having a human reproductive system to a skeleton one without anything going wonky? What about other bodily functions that skeletons do? Did Lissa go from human to skeleton monster all at once without any compromises?

Thank you. It's been a very tough last couple of days for me, but I'm getting back up onto my feet, and powering through.

As for your question...

Yes! Lissa can still have children, and so can other Inverto. Basically, her reproductive capabilities are the same as the rest of the skeletons in the house. Instead of relying on a menstrual cycle, her reproduction is based heavily on her soul, just like the others. She'll even experience the biyearly (twice a year) heats, same as them. All of her children will come out as complete beings of magic, and if she has children with any of the other skeletons in the house, they'll always look like a skeleton. There will never be any human looking children in her future with them.

Yes, Lissa did seamlessly transition from human to inverto, or monster like if you prefer without any compromises. That's what makes Inverto so special, and cause such shock in the world. The fact that this happened so quickly, easily, and without hurting the soul's of the ones it happened to, stunned everyone.

It's as if they'd be born this way, and spent their whole lives like this instead of one day waking up like that. It puzzled doctor's, and scientists who to this day still don't know how it happened so flawlessly.

Quick question, but say an Inverto before changing had tattoos. Would they transfer over to the new changed body, or say Lissa had some-would they show up on her bones or on her ecto body or would they disappear from the change? Odd question, I know but I'm very curious and its hooked in my head!!

Depends on what they changed into!

For Lissa, they'd have disappeared since her skin is technically gone. For Inverto who's skin has morphed into something else, kind of like Riley Jay's then the tattoo would stay!
