"You're gorgeous."
The cut on his head was bad, but he didn’t think it would merit such a comment. “I am far better off than my opponent,” he muttered, knowing his attacker was likely dead by now.

If we dated, I'd probably hate you.

“I highly doubt that’s actually within the law.”
"And then I'm killing you."
Tony stared at the woman for a second, “Excuse me?” How did she get here anyway? “You can’t just come here and threaten me. Thats not how it works.”

[text ;; Ass] Oh, wow. I think I’d be offended, if I actually cared.

There was a part of Jade that didn't want to leave without telling Sebastian why she was doing all this. In fact, she wasn't sure what was holding her back besides Sebastian's safety, and Magnussen's utter knowledge of bloody everything.
She needed to disappear.
He was going to ruin her, her empire, the one she worked so hard on building up, the one that takes extra power to run because you're a woman. The last bit was always bullshit to Jade but it was true in some cases. Meeting with a mob family who's never worked with a woman before and has zero respect for them in the first place is always a...tedious situation.
But now, Jade had 'pulled the trigger on herself' and made a run for it. She was in hiding for almost a complete two years before she was captured by another criminal group and tortured for months. It was only when the new of the death of CAM made it's way up to France, where she was being held, that she knew she needed to get home to pick up the pieces of her empire.
One week, a few called in favors, and a plane ride later, and Jade had managed to clean herself up to send the message out via self-coded cell phone app. Being a genius had its perks.
She waited for a phone call, for someone to show up in a car or motorcycle beside her as she walked back to Conduit Street. Any sort of sign that Sebastian noticed her returned. Anything, so she could get back to safety, because she wasn't safe with the other.
"Who topped?"

Dark eyes blinked open and then narrowed at the sunlight filtering in from the blinds of the window. Rolling over, a lazy smirk tugged up his lips as he looked at Sebastian, eyebrow raised mischievously.
"I think the better question is who left the blinds open, love. Because really, do either of us ever not top, in a sense?"
