ARLA YAP : was watching gloom and kubscoutz recent vid together and got inspired.
ִ ⦂ 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐨𝐧
—> he only agreed to watch a horror movie to see you get scared, though he also didn’t think it would be that bad, he’s faced a lot of villains (and most of the time it’s deliberate)
—> he talks over the movie trying to guess when the jumpscares are coming, “right now—“ and when they do he screams like a child going through puberty.
—> as the movie goes on he slowly shuffles closer to you without you realising till you can practically feel his breath on you, along with that he definitely cuddles up with a pillow, his eyes never leave the tv while he watches it.
—> he tries to act confident as if he doesn’t need a spare change of trousers after it’s over, he would also 100% end up tearing up, though he wouldn’t cry.
—> when the movie ends he says “wow! can we watch another one?” acting all smug however he’s hoping you say no.
—> if you say yes unfortunately he will thug through, only to look cool infront of you, he eventually gets less scared as the second movie goes on, up until an ad comes up— yes he jumped. the ad was bright! it caught him off guard, he used this as an excuse immediately brushing of the fact that when he jumped he scared you too, “maybe we should watch something nice, like that new series!”
—> accidently tells mark about it and you BOTH get a lecture about it, the lecture only really focused on the fact someone (oliver) had decided to watch the horror movie at night.
ִ ⦂ 𝐑𝐞𝐱 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐧
—> he was the one who suggested the both of you play, he only really suggested it so that he could watch you squirm and latch onto him for safety.
—> no he doesn’t pretend he isn’t scared, because he’s not, he fights villains for god sake, a simple horror game couldn’t scare him at all, otherwise why would he suggest it in the first place?
—> the moment he does get scared it’s when you do too, he screams like a girl, though when you side eye him he instantly mans up again, his ego will not get ruined by some stupid game which made him do about 8 tasks just to get to the good part! “you screamed first!”
—> the only reason he got scared that time was because there was a jumpscare beforehand so he didn’t expect another one, after this though he instantly shoves the controller in your hands, “my times up it’s your go” in reality he just doesn’t want the controller to jump out his hands again.
—> while your concentrating and actually playing and running from the monster in the game he takes this chance and instantly scares you, it’s simple, all he does is say “boo!” and moves his head quickly to block the screen from your eyesight.
ִ ⦂ 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐨𝐧
—> when you guys are watching the movie, he’s already curled up beside you though he is keeping mental note on what NOT to do if he were getting haunted by a doll.
—> definitely makes commentary and asks you questions like your the director “wait why don’t they just burn the doll or move.??” if you both were in the cinema watching this he’d 100% be hushed by anyone else there, and then remain quiet while he’s red from embarrassment.
—> when he talks if it isn’t a question about the movie, it’s him pointing out the easier ways to handle things but this is just him trying to keep himself from getting scared.
—> occasionally glances at you to see your reaction to what’s happening, he holds your hand throughout the whole movie.
—> if he ends up getting scared he won’t scream or make it obvious, however you will feel his body tense up beside you, that’s about the only reaction you will get; and if the movie is even scarier he might occasionally flinch.
—> sure he’s a hero, he’s invincible and his dad is literally omni man, but he’s never had to fight a haunted doll before so yes he is keeping tabs on what not to do if he comes across one along with if he ever got haunted by one.
—> at the end of the movie if you get up to go to the toilet, he will be outside the bathroom door when you come back out he’s just checking on you don’t worry to much about it, it’s not like he’s terrified to sit in the living room.
