11 in total for now, and then in the future I’ll have 3 or so more added.
I’m still in my first set of trays for another week, but they are much tighter now and OMFG are they are hard to take out now. It took my at least five whole minutes to get the top tray off my teeth before I had dinner. Hoping I develop some sort of technique and it gets easier.
I also mentioned to my doc that when my trays are in, my molars and premolars on the left side top and bottom touch first but my molars and premolars on the right side don’t touch at all. When I take my trays out, it’s the opposite. I have a theory that it’s because my 12 & 13 on my left side appear to move down in my clincheck that the aligners have extra material that are creating a space for them to move into by preventing me from biting down on that side ? And at first I thought I might be imagining it but I got my attachments on and when my trays are out, I am most DEFINITELY touching my lower attachments on the right side before anything at all and on my left touches. So now I’m trying to consciously eat carefully on that side so I don’t bite down too hard and break off an attachment 😅
