It is such a burden to be this fixated on such a mediocre book. Not even in a "it had potential" kind of way with my other controversial interests but in a "the description lied the plot goes nowhere and everything is racist or fetishist or just plain creepy for no reason" kind of way because the plot is incoherent tripe and even after spoiling all the sequels I don't understand why the couple the entire series is based on isn't actually focused on in the reality of the series

"Keep my fingers crossed" bullshit actually when Trufulla comes out Riki is Asexual they are Aroace they do not have romantic or sexual attraction they do not desire nor really enjoy sex if there forms a fandom for Trufulla and people try to pull their usual "not all aces" all have my permission to link this here post for canon purposes.

The only example of compelling characters weak story I think has failed for me actually is Star Vs.

HOWEVER that's because every single character had what made them compelling sucked out of them with silly straws and then had the husks stuffed with what was left on the drawing board.

The duality of man is believing there's good in a character and despite their poor choices their life was a tragedy and they deserved better while still starting to foam at the mouth when people start on their "they did nothing wrong/they aren't as bad as you're saying!" Bullshit.
