Ironically the most well known user of the devastating ionized energy discs as a weapon of choice, the mantis like Manterror was killed during one of the semi regularly occurring periods of inter tribe conflict between the various insectoid tribes of Eukaris B. Resurrected by the energon carrier wave, his resurrection also mutated his mantis-like body with some lizard traits. Manterror re-christened himself Buzzclaw after he realized that the knives integrated into the gauntlets of his new body were capable of naturally generating new ion discs
