About the school project I mentioned before

I have decided on my hero/villain. I have not draw the new character yet, but I have basic info for her so far.

Meet my new mutant hero/villain

Powers:

•Uses goop they secrete to shape shift

•Immune to their own goop

•Causes others to mutate

•Only cure to mutations is mercuric

Backstory:

Iona was born to a woman from Ukraine who gave birth right after being exposed to the Chernobyl. Due to radiation infecting her mother, they were born blind. Her mother died after birth due to radiation poisoning. Iona was raised by her Celtic Pagan Uncle and 5 cousins.

When she turned 17, Iona decided to take a danger tour of Chernobyl, and ended up getting separated from the group due to her cousin loosing her in the crowd. Iona wandered around the radiated forest surrounding the desolated town for two weeks. After three in the forest, a pack of dogs who lived in the forest brought Iona food and water until she gained enough strength to walk again. One week in and she started secreting a weird goop. 9 days and she could control the goop. Unknowable to her, the goop mutated the dogs into monsters, but still felt and sounded the same to her.

At the end of two weeks, the search people found her in a pile of goop, surrounded by her pack of mutated dogs. The rescue team barely survived her “rescue”. She was sent to a hospital in America, where they tested on her in ways no person should endure. She was quarantined to to her goop.

Her cousins and uncle would visit, saying prayers to their gods and hoping their dear cousin could be healed. Their prayers went to waste.

Three years in containment have Iona time to plan her escape. After getting descriptions of the lab assistants and her care takers from her family, she did something she never thought she could do. She shape shifted into one of her caretakers. Undercover of her cousin who originally lost her, Iona escaped into the real world, and wanted to get revenge on the company who treated her like a lab rat.

Iona took up the name Magic Locks, and with the help of her cousin, Lonan, Iona started selling her goop as a cure all. They traveled the world using fake passports and names. Their goods were sold by Cash Only. They made their ways around the poorer areas, and created armies of the mutated.

Sadly, an accident happened and Lonan came in contact with the goop. He mutated into part bird, part man. He had blackbird wings and bird’s feet. His eyes looks as that of a blackbird. The wings could be hidden behind long coats, and the feet were wrapped and placed in large boots. The eyes, however, had to be covered with a mask. Lonan became a sidekick who was immune to the goop forever more. He could fly, and would carry Iona around the world using his wings.

Now the company who tested on Iona have to desperately find a cure for the “CURE ALL GOOP OF GOOD COMINGS” or else the world will turn into mutant’s land.

But who is the true villain? Iona or the company? Depends on who you ask.
