Why does no one talk about the scene in its okay to be okay where Ko Moon Young is reading Moon Sang Tae's cards set of emotions???
First there's the scene, where Moon Gang Tae asks Ko Moon Young to read his face, and he shows her Sang Tae's emotions board when she answers playfully,
but Moon Young doesn't pay attention to the cards and just argues that she's not autistic, but she's taken aback immediately when Gang Tae mentions that she's not a zombie kid either
"What did the boy really want?” “Satiating his hunger or feeling his mother's warmth?”
Okay, we all remember this scene, is a famous and an adorable one
BUUT later on, we say ACTUALLY SEE Moon Young reading and analyzing the cards, and she just stands there while Gang Tae is sleeping, because she's not a zombie kid, but she wasn't sure of her answer when he asked her that
maybe because his face expression wasn't one of anger or disappointment or fear, and that's all she's ever known
this scene just really has a place in my heart, I love how complex all the characters are
