IOTS AU - Liberation of the Slaughtered Duncan

After being brought off of the Island, Duncan near immediately cut ties with everyone else.

He discreetly tried to get into therapy after a couple weeks- deciding that yeah- he really did need it. However, he wans't in therapy more than 4 months at best.

The first two years after IOTS was hard, and it made him very verbally aggressive and violently unpredictable.

After four months of therapy he was learning better ways of coping- but due to him not being well liked- you could say he was chased out of therapy / bullies out of it due to him constantly being a dick to people.

Over time, he's learned how to maintain his mood more. Though it's not always successful. He is considerably less of an asshole now than he was in any of the season but he still has his slip ups. Duncan works 2 jobs. 1st being retail (as a cashier and shelf stocker) and his secondary job is working with automotive and bikes.

He doens't like sleeping, and unless his body shuts down he avoids sleep unless he thinks he is in dire need of it due to his mental hallucinations he has when he dreams of just about... anything he's seen.

He kept his green hair, but it's not spiked anymore due to work policies (usually smoothed down and combed well as per his works preferences.

Most of his piercings had also been removed and placed into a small box. He does this to remember Courtney as well.

He initially wanted to get a job behind an office desk- but due to his mind constantly wandering back to the events- he needs his job to be more active than just typing all day.

Duncan has a pet parrokeet named Aspen and another named Aloe.
