Why did you choose to compete on Idol Project: Reboot?: Clover isn’t getting the attention that our sister group is getting, and it’s hard not to compare ourselves and wonder what we’re doing wrong. And honestly, I think I’m lacking. I’m not here to make the final group, but to try hard to improve for my groupmates

What do you feel are your strengths? Weaknesses?: I'm very positive, and I like keeping the mood high! I’m an okay dancer. My singing isn’t good though

What are you hoping to accomplish while on the show?: This is kind of like an immersion. But instead of language, it’s performing. I hope I come out of it on the other side more talented.

What do you think your biggest challenge will be?: Keeping up with all the much more talented idols....

Why did you choose to compete on Idol Project: Reboot?: We got our first win last year, but that was kind of the peak of our career. It feels like we’re a gimmick, and we’re just throwing as much as we can at a wall and hoping to god something sticks, and that feels awful. We’re worked so hard, and it feels like we’re not getting a ton in return. My hope is that maybe if I go on this show, people will look at Burnout more favorably. 

What do you feel are your strengths? Weaknesses?: I’m very well rounded, I think. I came to Liberty as a vocal trainee, funny enough, and I think that over the years my rapping has gotten a lot better. Burnout’s choreography is pretty high level too. I think I’ll have trouble with softer and girlier concepts, though, as well as sexy ones, because that’s not really what we do.

What are you hoping to accomplish while on the show?: I’d like to try more concepts, and do some singing. Show a more well-rounded side of myself than the fierce rapper you seen in Burnout songs.

What do you think your biggest challenge will be?: Definitely concept work, if I’m given stuff I’m not used to. I’m unfortunately in a rut, and kind of a one-trick pony at the minute

Why did you choose to compete on Idol Project: Reboot?: I love Delight and what we’ve been able to accomplish, and I don’t regret our past work, but I do think our past work limits our reach and our future work. We have a stigma against us. I want to break peoples’ expectations

What do you feel are your strengths? Weaknesses?: My idol past isn’t very typical, so I don’t think I have the polished dance skills everyone else will have. And I’m no main vocalist. But I am charismatic-- I’m very good at capturing an audience’s attention and holding it!

What are you hoping to accomplish while on the show?: I want to make it in the final group! I also want to show that Delight has evolved, and convince people to give us a second chance!

What do you think your biggest challenge will be?: Like I said, breaking people’s expectations of me. People are going to look down on my for my past concepts. I’m proud and I don’t regret anything, but having those kinds of opinions while I’m trying my best will be burdensome

Why did you choose to compete on Idol Project: Reboot?: Merci has struggled a lot, and some of it’s most impactful years happened without me. I have the talent, but I feel like it doesn’t matter anymore. Maybe I can remind people that I’m here and deserving

What do you feel are your strengths? Weaknesses?: I pride myself on my vocals, but my dancing needs work. Some Merci choreography winds me, and it isn’t even that difficult realistically

What are you hoping to accomplish while on the show?: Jiae is incredible, but she is not the only member of Merci. Suri is incredible, but she is not the only member of Merci. I am here too, and I want to show the world that we are a well rounded group-- not just two stars and their backup dancers.

What do you think your biggest challenge will be?: I imagine I’m going to be a lot older than the other contestants. I’m even quite a bit older than my own members. I worry I won’t be able to connect with them, or relate to audiences in the same way.

Why did you choose to compete on Idol Project: Reboot?: I have always been one of many. Both groups I’ve been in have been very big. And in both groups, I don’t think I was ever the stand out. I am a good member to fill out numbers, but never the star. I wanted to try to break out on my own and see what I could do when it’s just me, not lots of numbers.

What do you feel are your strengths? Weaknesses?: I am one of the best dancers I know, but because Compass never had me sing, I don’t think I sing well. And I’m an even worse rapper.

What are you hoping to accomplish while on the show?: I think I’m competing for me more than anything. I really want to show myself that I can do it, but also that I’m enough on my own.

What do you think your biggest challenge will be?: Singing. Especially live and unfiltered. That scares me

Why did you choose to compete on Idol Project: Reboot?: I barely get any lines in Terra songs half the time, and I’m the only member who didn’t get to be in a unit. It’s totally not fair. I think I should get more, and that I’ve earned it, so now I’m going to earn it some more.

What do you feel are your strengths? Weaknesses?: I'm good at dancing. I can memorize dances really fast, too-- I once did a segment on weekly idol where I had to memorize a dance by sight in only a few seconds, and I did pretty good! My singing....I can sing, okay? Good enough. But not as good as other people, I guess, and It’s hard for me to be stable when I’m dancing sometimes.

What are you hoping to accomplish while on the show?: I want to show the producers or the ceo or the sound engineers-- whoever keeps cutting my lines-- how dumb they’re being

What do you think your biggest challenge will be?: I get upset really easy, and that’s easy to turn into an evil edit, so keeping that in check

Do you have anything to say to your CEO(s) and coaches, or former members?: Watch closely because I’m about to prove you wrong. And to Terra, I love you a lot. It’s not your fault. I hope you don’t think I’m mad at you. I just want the chance to be a bigger part of our team

Why did you choose to compete on Idol Project: Reboot?: Most of Byulbit, and Auriga in particular, are famous. My sister has debuted before. Jinhee was on Idol Project, and was in past groups. Chaeli is an actor. Everyone instantly love Chaemi. And because Auriga is the only unit I’m in, and no one knew who I was before I debuted, I feel like I don’t seem as important as the other members sometimes, which sucks. I really want to show myself to a wider audience so Auriga becomes stronger as a unit!

What do you feel are your strengths? Weaknesses?: I don’t get to show it in Auriga because Chaemi is the focus, but I’m a really good singer. And the same with rap-- I’ve never really rapped in an Auriga song because Dylan is our rapper, but I think I’m pretty good! I have trouble with stage presence, though. I think I fade into the background a lot.

What are you hoping to accomplish while on the show?: I want to show what I can do, so hopefully people recognize me, and come to watch Auriga for me too, not just for everyone else.

What do you think your biggest challenge will be?: Being able to stand out on stage next to a ton of really talented people

Do you have anything to say to your CEO(s) and coaches, or former members?: Sometimes I wonder if you regret debuting me. I’m sorry for lacking, and I promise to work hard so I can be better.

Why did you choose to compete on Idol Project: Reboot?: My group members are both in Unity, so they are both very popular. I just kind of feel like I am so behind them. And after the misunderstanding on Idol Project and me being eliminated because of Dispatch rumors and stuff, I just feel like I’m not seen in the best light. I want a do-over, so I can be on even footing with Seyeon and Dokyoung.

What do you feel are your strengths? Weaknesses?: I think my best skill is my dancing-- I think I’m a really good dancer. As for weaknesses....well, I’m Trinity’s main vocalist, but if every main vocalist in K-pop was pitted against each other, I would be last place. I have a lot of room to learn and grow.

What are you hoping to accomplish while on the show?: I don’t want to be the least popular invisible member of Trinity anymore. I want my group to be a cohesive team, and I hope trying again on this show will help us get there.

What do you think your biggest challenge will be?: Honestly, convincing people to give me a second chance. People are going to take the dispatch article at face value, and I can’t stop them from doing that, but I want a chance to prove that there is so much more to me and that I’m not that person. And not everyone is going to give me that chance.
