This year I packed my first shoebox. Some of you may already have seen my little video about the box, but I wanted to share some thoughts as well, also to let you know that there is still some time until 18th of Nov! So I have always wanted to help. But I am not rich, I cannot support big things, so I just gave some pennys to poor people or musicians on the street. This year I thought I'd make a child, also myself happy with packing a shoebox. If you don't know this kind of charity: you just grab a medium sized shoebox, and fill it with fun things, mainly no clothes or canned food, but toys! And you choose a gender and an age range. I packed together more small things, hoping there will be at least 1 or 2 she will like :) a bit of a healthy snack with a toothbrush and toothpaste :) A soft toy and a book of course, and some beads, stickers, markers what she can be creative with. These are what I liked when I was a child :) And I am not a believer. But even though this is organised by the @samaritanspurse , and it's happening in Jesus' name, I don't mind as long as it makes a child happy, that's the only important thing. #ipackedashoebox #ipackshoeboxes #helpeachother
