Photos on Your iPad look 'soft'? Here's the fix
I couldn't understand why my portfolio on my iPad looked 'soft'. Like the images been compressed even more than the original.
Today I figured out - after much hunting around the interweb - the reason and the fix.
You know when iTunes optimizes your photos? Well, it's making them fit to 2304x1536 pixels if they are from a DSLR or 2048x1536 if they are from a Compact.
Simply resize your images to these dimensions with your favourite image editor and ¡voila! they'll be as crisp and sharp as they are on your Mac/PC.
Enjoy.
ps: works for your iPhone too
