One of the most interesting things about June and Day’s dynamic is how Day is almost always the more emotional of the two. Yes, June is the one who says “Without emotion, what’s the point of being human?” but in the beginning it’s Day who acts with passion and emotion, and June the one who acts with logic and reason. At the start, Day is impulsive and fiery, and June represses her emotion to get the job done. Only after they meet each other does Day start to think things through and June begin to realize that there’s nothing weak about emotion.

I just think it’s very refreshing for the guy to be emotional and the girl to be the ~emotionless trained warrior~
