I usually do not take pictures of homeless but my journalist instincts of capturing/documenting the beauty and misseries of life kicked in. This offers a beautiful sense of morals and vows that even in good and bad you're loved one should stand by you, through rich and poor- be by one another's side and it will always help to take the pain away. Sometimes all you need is to be by your loved one's side to make a difference in their life and or problems. This photo depicts an elderly homeless couple and their dog sleeping together on the tram in milan during the holidays. Will they get eachother a gift? No one can be sure, but what we can be sure is that they have the gift of love and will be there for eachother always.
