My 1:76 scale T-34/85, built from the @officialairfix kit, earned a Bronze Award in Armor, Allied tracked vehicles through 1945 at today's KC CON show. Co-hosted by IPMS/Great Plains and IPMS/KC AMPS, the Armor models were judged by #AMPS rules. This was my first experience with such a system, and a positive one at that. Tonight, I was honored by @ipmsgateway with its annual Robert A. Stroup Memorial Award for Outstanding Achievement. This award--voted on by the club's members--is named for a founding member, who died in 1979, and recognizes members who go above and beyond for #IPMSGateway and serve as an ambassador for the club and hobby. Formerly a once in a lifetime award, it is now open to all members.
