hey, so i have this old ipod touch that i want to fix. im pretty sure its an iPod touch 4th generation. fun fact, it works to an extent. it plays music perfectly fine (mostly the song in the video), but the screen doesnt work.
i know i need to replace the screen, but does anyone have any advice for where i can buy one?
also, power button doesnt work. how do i fix it.

every time i turn my ipod on i don’t have wifi, and usually after i turn on my computer i might get connected. But recently it just won’t connect to my wifi, even when i choose our service and put the password in. Does anyone know how to fix this? I know that it’s my ipod because my computer still connects.

Technology question. I have an iPod touch 4th gen that is stuck in a recovery mode loop. I’m trying to keep all content on there as there’s over 1000 songs that are not from iTunes and several hundred photos I don’t want to lose. So far nothing I’ve tried has worked.
-tried a full reboot but nothing seems to fix the 1611 error I keep getting
-held down Home/Power buttons for 10+ seconds (wanted to see if holding it down longer would change the result)
-holding down Home/Power and letting go of 1 of those when the apple logo appeared
-holding down Home/Volume down (as I’d heard it works with newer Apple products so what’s the harm)
I’m trying to not buy something third party that forces it out of recovery mode with all that’s going on and I currently don’t have a job. But ask the content on here is from 2013-2017 and I don’t have any of the devices it was backed up onto. Also nothing appears on the screen unless it’s plugged in no matter what you do.
