Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag [ten] friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
I was tagged by iprefertosaynothing. Thank you! ^.^ (And I feel terrible for not realising who you were until I saw your AO3 account with the familiar username from Q, oh gosh, I'm so sorry.) So, my ten books:
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
Dance on my Grave by Aiden Chambers
The Angel Maker by Stefan Brijs
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare
Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
I read 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7 in Dutch or German, but I used the English translations of the titles for this, because that seemed to make more sense in an English list. And yeah, okay, I cheated a bit and a lot of these are actually series of books instead of single novels, but it's already a small miracle I managed to make a list of just ten books. No regrets.
I'm tagging maheegan, jaimesherlife, ninthdoctorsbutt (i know you don't do tag games and that's fine but i'm stubborn and i need to put people on this list so hah and who knows maybe you'll get bored somewhere this week), smileylover99, marieblog, dodokipje, its-raining-punkpop, laurnabee and cadetdday. Obviously none of you have to do this if you don't want to and I'm not going to hate or unfollow you if you don't. I mean, I hope that's not actually something I needed to say, but you know, just making sure no one feels obligated.
