Change your mind
How can we use so much of our time/money and be completely understanding on producing and manufacturing, experimenting, and distribution for pharmaceutical heroin, and money put into jails, prison, court, persecutions, public defenders, but, we don’t have the time or money to actually help addicts through addiction, applying all efforts to pulling at the root of the problem,identifying why the problem is there, and how it grew, and just being there without the point of a finger, but there standing holding the hope that they had lost, even if they only lost hope for a moment? Hope, advice, listening and understanding someone, that is free.
We can fix this epidemic, for free, less effort, same amount of time, all we need is more hope. The view people look at Addicts is through a generalized societal view, that they have “no purpose”, they assume they will use,have no potential to be a productive part of society. IF we address the problems I’ve mentioned, help individuals without treating them like the same old problem, with no hope, because they feel as if the addict will do eventually do it again, when that way of thinking is exactly what got that individual there in the first place, if we stopped with assumptions, the sugar coating clinics basically handing out problems in the form Subs, or methadone, and not an actual hand, or the things that matter, that are metaphorically there, like an ear to hear an actual cry out for help, or a shoulder for those tears to fall upon. insinuating an actual hand to grasp, instead of another addiction to cover the actual problem, or to fall upon but an actual hand, of help, to get back up into the potential of becoming a better aspect of a person of society, then guess what? We would have more individuals to stop the crimes that are unraveling as this epidemic, either you, friends, or family are going through, that some are even in the closets about, because of fear of judgment society thrusts upon them in the first place. If we stopped, took a look at why, how, and truly understand not because we have to find a solution, but because we WANT to make the world a better place, those problems wouldn’t exist in order to make addicts users of a man made epidemic, but helping individuals help themselves and others become something much greater than this new age catastrophic purgatory set culture we trap ourselves in. We are greater than our problems, but we can’t see that with such a biased perception of how things should be, rather than how they can and could be.
