GRP 99-Our guest for this weeks episode is Jason Hall. Jason wrote the screen play for "American Sniper" and is the director for "Thank You For Your Service". His latest film is based on the book of the same title written by David Finkel. It's centered around Adam Schumann a U.S. Army Combat veteran and some of the final moments of this last deployment into Iraq with a focus on his return home. This movie highlights the struggle that some combat veterans face upon returning from war not only with the physical and mental damage , but in getting help from Veterans Affairs.
Jason shared a funny story about how he met Navy SEAL Sniper Chris Kyle. We talked about what it was like working behind the scenes for this film, and some of the issues that are faced by combat veterans. Enjoy.

This video footage captured on November 16, 2015, shows the incredible sight of…

Alon Ben-Meir: Defeating ISIS and ending Sunni-Shiite war In Iraq

I maintain that unless the political discussion begins now between the Shiite-dominated Iraqi government and the Sunnis (under the…

Iraq’s ruling alliance and powerful Shi’ite militias say Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi would be digging his own political grave and undermining the fight against Islamic State if he permits the deployment of a new U.S. special operations force in the country.
Washington said on Tuesday it would send troops, expected to number around 200, to Iraq to conduct raids against the ultra-hardline Sunni Muslim militants who have seized swathes of the country’s north and west and neighboring Syria.
Abadi said hours later that any such deployment would require his government’s consent, comments that may have been made for public consumption at home.
