“It doesn't hurt that bad. Don’t worry.” (Meghan to Puck)

“Are you kidding me...” Really? She was really going to say that to him after they just hiked for whoever knows how long? This would have been easier if she knew how to use her glamour and therefore knew how to teleport herself to the damn cat instead having to walk for who knew how long across the Nevernever. The fact that they didn’t run into anything dangerous surprised the trickster, though that goblin camp almost proved to be trouble if goblins by nature weren’t so stupid.
Puck crossed his arms and gave her an uncharacteristic glare. “Sit down and let me look you over. You’re still human princess and a walk like that, with no rest I might add, isn’t good for you.”
[ @ircnqueen should come to bed with the ice prince ]
Feeling the bed shift, Ash immediately woke up from his light sleep and lifted his head. He half expected it to be his queen but when he saw that it was just Beau, her German Shepard, getting onto the bed he sighed. Where was she? She should have come to bed hours ago. And she told him she would when he informed her that he was going to bed. Sighing, he got out of their bed and headed to the door that led into her study. Light shone from the small crack Beau had made when he left the room in favor of coming into their bedroom. Yeah, so much for that.
Silently slipping into the room, his hands went to his hips while he stood by the door and watched her for a moment. Yep, there was still at her desk as the sounds of typing filled the room. Just like he had left her. Walking over to her desk, he stood behind her chair and looked at what she was doing. What exactly she was working on Ash didn’t know but it wasn’t hard for him to see that she was typing up some sort of document. And from what he read her tiredness was starting to catch up with her. “How did you misspell that?” he finally asked, his arms folding on the top of the head rest of her desk chair as his chin rested on them to continue reading over her head while she deleted one of her mistakes.
