Anything but selfish joy would have been shining through her actions, if Sylph knew what Puck had been suffering from. He may have told her about iron poisoning, but, as was evident from the increasingly bright smile on her face and the rosy color on her cheeks, she was too caught up to realize the lights were held together by this material. And with his encouraging of her embrace, the unsuspecting girl didn’t have a clue. “What were you doing?” she asked when curiosity prevailed. In the meantime, Sylph placed her forehead against his, and moved one hand to his cheek, fingers softly trailing along his jaw.

The smile on his face brightened as she leaned her forehead against his and trail her fingers down to his jaw. His shoulders shrugged a little as he pulled her more into his lap. Leaning forward a little, he brushed a kiss against her cheek before saying, “Nothing really.” He had thought of using them for a prank but after getting tangled up in them and getting iron poisoning, that idea went out the window. Puck had thought that he could put up with a bit of iron poisoning for touching them but he never thought he’d get tangled up in them. “What have you been up to daffodil?”

The prince looked at her when he felt her lips press against his cheek. He wasn’t sure what he had done to earn such affection but he wasn’t going to object. Closing the book he had been reading, he wrapped his arms around her waist and lowered his head into her lap. Pressing his nose into her stomach, Ash let out a long sigh as he began to relax.

Well I had a bad day at work and I feel like crap. I’ll try to do things, like I wanted to when I got home, but it depends on how I’m feeling. I’m sorry I really haven’t done much lately over here, I’m hoping with the three days off that I have (maybe more depending on how this snowstorm is looking come Saturday) more of a muse for this blog.

I’m going add this to my rules but I figured I’d make a post about it too.

As of now, Ash is most likely only going be shipped with Ariella ( @fateandfury ). Because of this, I’m “taking away” his consort verse (the verse that is post book series, where he has a soul, and married to Meghan) as well. I’m mostly doing this because I feel this is the direction he is going. I do ship Ash/Meghan but right now I don’t believe I’ll be doing anything involving that ship. I will answer any asks that are about that verse or Ash being with Meghan and if someone wishes to roleplay with Ash when he does have a soul/prince consort then I’ll do it. But that sort of thread needs to be requested.

Tilting her head down she allowed Ash to place thenewly frost-coated flower crown onto her head. She huffed and blew cold air ather lover before rolling her eyes. Moving her hands through her silver hair shelooked away from him as he seemed to still be annoyed with her. What did she do? She hadn’t asked the Summer fey for the present! Rolling her eyes again sheleaned forward and pecked Ash on the cheek to see if that could warm up hisfrozen heart before making her way towards the Winter Realm instead offollowing him. She knew what he was like and how to change his mind.

He stood still and watched her as she seemed to have a little fit over his behavior. And Ash was starting to think he knew why. He wasn’t annoyed with her, he was annoyed with the Summer fey who seemed to be able to give her things he couldn’t. And that was the part that annoyed him. He was constantly worried that someone else would come along and take Ariella’s attention away from him. At home Rowan was his primary concern but out here he had to worry about Puck as well. Puck had a higher chance than Rowan at doing that too. He relaxed a bit and his gaze softened a little as well once she kissed his cheek. Watching walk away for a moment he soon followed her and easily fell into step along side her.

The Winter Fey sulked, her fingers touching theslight frost that was covering the lovely flower crown that her friend hadgiven to her. “You’re killing it!” Ariellashouted as she took long strides after her lover and followed him back towardsthe Winter Realm. Once they were out of the Wildwoods she knew that the flowerswould be close to dead then – but she’d have liked to keep them for as long asshe could. 

“You’re so frustrating at times; you’re lucky I love you.”

He stopped where he was and frowned at her a little. He knew she loved Summer flowers and that the moment they reached their realm the flowers would die. Knowing that she would be upset over that did lessen his grumpy mood a little. Walking over to her, he took the crown off of her head and coated in a very light frost. Placing it back on her head, still with a bit of a frown, he said, “They’ll live a bit longer in our realm if they’re coated in frost.” Ash snorted, however, and looked away from her though he made no move to continue walking.

“Stop looking at me like that, Ash – you’re just jealous that Puckbrought it for me and not for you,”the Winter Fey couldn’t help but laugh at her lover as she saw the look on hisface. She knew that it was most likely a little jealously towards Puck inrelation to her – but she was going to tease Ash as much as she could.

“I don’t want one, especially not from him,” he grumbled as he glared a little more at the flower crown Puck had made for Ariella before vanishing. He hated that Summer fey could do things like that. It seemed that Ariella always loved them and she gave Puck some of her affection to him whenever he did it. It also didn’t help that Ash felt the trickster did it just to piss him off. Glaring at the crown on her head for another moment, he huffed before beginning to walk back in the direction of the Winter Realm.

She chuckled a little as she moved her free hand and ran her fingers through the male fey’s hair, “Well, if you insist.” Ariella knew Ash quite well – and she knew that he would have wanted some intimate time, but intimate time didn’t always mean time to be seductive and sexy – and she would quite happily just relax with him in the bath. It had been a while since she had gotten the chance to be around the Prince after all as he had been busy working to keep his mother’s attention during a meeting of some sort. “After you.”

His head instantly tilted towards her fingers the moment they touched his hair. A smile soon appeared on his face as she agreed to bathe with him though. Taking her other hand into his free hand, he stood up and guided her to the room adjacent to his bedroom. Opening the door to the bathroom door, he pulled her in with him before shutting it. Ash kissed her cheek before stepping away and began to undress. Once his shirt was off he threw it to the ground and moved his hands back to her waist. “Well?”

He looked up at her as he sat on his bed with a blank look. His hand reached out and gently took her wrist into it. “Only if you join me.” It was meant to be an innocent request but Ash knew it might not seem like it. All he really did want was to just relax in a bath with her and not have to worry about anything else. And this was Ariella he was talking to, surely she would know his true intent. Silver eyes continued to look up at her but this time took on a more pleading look to them.
