Travel is hard to think about, sometimes the mind can play tricks that would cause various changing of the mindset. This was harder when literal hundreds of thousands of minds were thinking all at once, briefly this was madness till a stronger voice in this collective silenced them all. A warp pad seemed to have remained active and near one of the many bodies this collective could take control of, thus causing a body wrapped in ropes to travel onto the pad and being travel. Many calculations went into such a decision, and science does require risk..or nothing would be gained. So there was no telling where this body was going.
