Okay, this is genius: because Andarna can camouflage! — So, the fact it can mean rainbow or iridescent, is PERFECT! It also has to do with the moon which is mentioned to glow off her scales plus she frequently picks to be a black dragon which are made for the night. Flame; thus far, the flames she (Andarna) has developed are crazy powerful. And highlighting the eyes which Violet is always mentioning with Andarna (cause they pretty much pierce her soul)… So, it’ll be interesting to see what that means power wise??? — Cause they seem to have a pattern between Deigh meaning ice (Rebecca really knew what she was doing with that Easter-egg we worried was a plot-hole) and Tairn aka Thunder (for her (Violet’s) Lightning).

Mono & Irid, heirs to Queen Gyne and her empire both having very different ideas on how the kingdom should be run once they start ruling, the ruling queen has a hard time choosing between the two, but has given Irid his own small colony to look after, meanwhile his sister Mono spends her days plotting to sabotage her brother & take over the pony kingdom. Though they were for most of their life raised by Princess Ashburn, and subsequently model themselves after her in various ways, they look up to their actual mother a lot and both want to impress her.

     Based on @almightyhamslice​ OC, Irid. He spies on the Kruds and even close with one of them, Makabris. He’s beginning to feel guilty, that he’s betraying his trust. He’s holding weapons Mak gave to him and the quotes above were him telling Irid that after giving them to him. Let’s just say they didn’t get put into good use. Spoilers.
