I picked the craziest theories I’ve seen… I’m sorry in advance…

Which do you think is most likely to come true? Theories for Empyrean #4 (UNHINGED) edition:

Imogen’s hair dye hides that she’s either Dunne dedicated, a Tauri, or Venin

Imogen has been erasing Violet’s memories throughout ALL of OS

Xaden ALSO had his memories erased, hence “don’t come looking for me”

Bodhi either DOES have a second signet driving him insane OR married Violet

Brennan or Dain are ACTUALLY the “new Brother” & Drake is the 3rd brother tale

Berwyn is ACTUALLY Naolin or Asher / OR Sgaeyl’s previous rider (who ISN’T dead)

Violet is part Venin OR carrying a Venin baby; hence RY’s “But Daddy I Love Him”

Tairn is the first of his line & that’s the reason he keeps reciting history

Tairn an Sgaeyl’s mating bond was broken by Andarna (the “she” Xaden speaks of)

Garrick is NOT the “new brother” & is the dead rider of the fallen brown dragon

Liam is alive or somebody’s got a second signet causing Violet to see him in IF

Bonus: Xaden and Violet didn’t actually get married, instead Aaric had the paperwork ready to go from the isle & simply waited to bring it into play (thanks to seeing the future) 🤷‍♀️

Using one of his own daggers as a bookmark for Violet is just the most Xaden thing I have ever seen. Domestic Riorgail has me obsessed.

Xaden Riorson’s actions in Fourth Wing and Iron Flame both make more sense and become infinitely funnier when you remember that the man is 22-23 years old.

This man is AT BEST a first year grad student trying to finish compulsory military service in an active war zone while running the family business (ruling a legit kingdom) and taking on extracurriculars (leading a rebellion) as side hustles. On top of that there’s a literal plague of evil descending, institutional racism is against him, and his Situationship (calling Violet that cuz a lot happens there over two books and I’m trying to cover all the relationship levels) never seems to settle out for more than a month at a time.

Like, of course the decision making is not always on point. The man doesn’t even have a fully developed pre-frontal cortex yet and he hasn’t slept the recommended amount in 6 years.

Violet: *chanels lightning when in stress meltdown*

Violet: *murders a venin in the backs of a flying dragon*

Violet: *joins a rebellion at an eye blink*

Violet: *eventually commands said rebellion she just joined*

I just saw this picture and I remember reading this part thinking what could Xaden’s smirk means? I have two theories, first he could read Drake’s intention? Or he could also see himself with Drake at that moment when he used to deny his feelings for Violet during FW. Like he could remember their banter. He was fustrated and amused at the same time with Violet then and now he could see ot woth Drake towards Mira. what you think?

Sometimes I momentarily forget he can read everyone’s minds and scenes get so many more layers and become so much funnier when you remember that… even more so in OS when it’s Violet viewing things differently knowing Xaden is reading intentions and her making guesses at what he’s catching.
