Friendly reminder that Kaveh is the STEM major and Alhaitham is the liberal arts (linguistics) major <3
Kaveh is not a typical STEM major because he approaches it with a specific kind of romanticism.
Alhaitham on the other hand is a filthy elitist linguist major who reads physics textbooks in his spare time. But like I would expect anything else FROM A FILTHY PRESCRIPTIVIST LINGUIST !!
Ah yes, we return to the regularly scheduled half a year pen-observing program.

Hi Spirit :unless: For your autumnal ask game — fireside, bonfire, cranberry <3
IRYTH :D
fireside - if you had your dream wardrobe, what would it look like?
answered that here hehe
bonfire - describe your dream house.
oh gosh this was hard... somewhere not in a busy city, but somewhat close by. some place that feels warm with tons of books, it smells of coffee or tea, is studio ghibli esque and is perfect for writing and baking!
cranberry - what’s one physical feature that you get complimented on?
my hair hehe! i recently changed my hairstyle and i feel a lot better about it too!
🌊 Aqua my beloved 💕💕✨️ For the fanfic writer asks, I am shooting your way 💥 24 25 44 56 70 73 86 97 98 ☆
24. on average, how much writing do you get done in a day?
zero. absolutely none. (fanfiction wise). i do not write daily, when i post a fic you best believe it has been written that same day. the ideas ruminate like chicken in my mind but i am the type who does nothing and then churns it out all at once.
25. what’s your revision or rewriting process like?
so, after finishing the fic i immediately check the spelling and grammar first. then, i step away for a few minutes to an hour and read it back from start to finish. i usually just end up switching or deleting a few sentences because of repetition or grammar. i do not really make any other changes to my works.
44. any writing advice you want to share?
everyone writes differently and no writer is ever satisfied with what they wrote because they have seen it and thought of it like a hundred times before. some things you write will be equivalent to fast food fries, others to epics and gourmet meals. all of it is fine. all of it IS writing. It is also fine to abandon projects when they cause you anxiety. (reinventions for example)
56. five years from now, where do you see yourself as a writer?
i still see myself writing for genshin on this blog but by that time capitano and dottore are out and i can make them fight inshallah ashdkla. but i hope i will have started an actual book by then.
70. are you very critical of your own writing? how much do you find yourself editing (either during the writing or after the fact)?
i open my drafts while knowing how much i hate myself and how much i will hate the things i write sometimes. i find it a natural process. i do not edit a lot - i think ideas come and they go once you write them which makes living easier. i RARELY reread things i wrote when months pass. i am very critical but not in a way that i will ever hate something i wrote before, more in the 'i will use this next instead of this'; i suppose its called the trail and error method but i do not like calling my pieces a mistake ever.
73. how do you visualize scenes? do you see it like a movie in your head, or do the words just flow?
i usually write oneshots so that means there are 1-3 scenes i imagine like a romance anime. e.g. dottore crying over the reader's bed or reader finding a box of memories; the rest is just words that flow around that. rarely does a more significant scene come to mind than the one i imagined in my head. it happens sometimes that words take over and make the scene more sad/happy but rarely.
86. which season best matches the mood of your wip(s)?
i... do not have true wips because i write things in one day usually but my wips are my ideas and i think....winter. either things are greeting spring or they are not moving out of that harsh cold.
97. abstract or detailed romance scenes?
i know i write freaking reader inserts but i am convinced i suck at truly romantic scenes like???? people in my fics RARELY KISS?? i have had this blog for 2+ years now and i think you can count on one hand kisses that happened. so, abstract all the way. love is hidden in everything after all.
98. what don’t you like about your writing style?
i cannot write action scenes. they are the ENEMY of my writing style.
Thank you for asking my dear, sending u KISSES AND HUGS AND BLADE
