Dathomir and Iridonia Zabrak Couple Krad and Seneda Senator and her bodyguard
Iridonia has creatures called hugglepups? those zabraks are good at naming creatures.
it would be funny if it’s quite dangerous, but zabraks are like look it’s the cute huggable puppies!
so iridonian zabrak typically seem to have hair and horns, all genders/phenotypes. dathomirian zabrak and zabrak/human/rattataki hybrids seem to be inexplicably dimorphic. girls get hair, boys get horns. (i'm guessing this is because of some internalized thing on the part of the writers, but we're playing in-universe todayyyyy)
my potentially morbid ponderings are... what do we think they do with anyone born in between? what's the social class for boys that grow hair? slave or witch? how about the girls that grow horns? how about people that grow neither hair nor horn? when gender presentation is paired to your social class, and your entire world's society is dramatically split into magical cultist or disposable servant with nothing in between, what do they do with the mismatched people with only two stark options?
i'm wondering if there's a village of outcasts on dathomir somewhere, or if they get magically altered, if they cut hair/horns off as desired, or just outright kill the un-sortable. hmmm. 🤔

Initially I didn't want to post It but then here we are. This Is one of my star wars ocs, her name Is Hima!
I spent the afternoon at the top of a hill in the village meditating, coming back from it just as dusk was falling. It occurred to me then, with fresh eyes and clear thoughts, that this enclave looks distinct from others. This is not paecian architecture, nor is it particularly rustic.
The curiosity led me to ask around, and asking has given me a piece of history. It seems that this village was founded by Iridonians who crash landed here long ago. Their names and stories are lost to time, but somehow, the ideas of architecture they brought from Iridonia have persisted.
I have a question, wise one. What does the skin of a zabrek feel like? For some reason I imagine they're covered from head to toe in short, fine hairs, almost like velvet or a peach but even finer. But I have no clue if there's an actual canonical description

They're hairless, friend. The zabrak homeworld is Iridonia, which has an arid climate where it's difficult to grow things. Part of the reason, I imagine, that they envision an afterlife that is lush and green and abundant — because they grew up with so little and because it was so difficult.
Dathomir is not much better, being covered in treacherous terrain: swamps and mountains and gnarled groves of gravethorns.
Zabrak do not sweat much either; an adaptation to their homeworld's climate. The conservation of water was especially important, given that they run slightly hotter. Two hearts, as such.
You may have noticed in your explorations that they do not have eyebrows, nor pubic hair.
Contrary to popular -- fanon -- belief, they are not teddy bears, or kitty cats, or whatever adorable creature you might liken them to. They are predators, and they are engineered to outlast you.
