Victoria x Irina Denali Headcanons
● Victoria is the one to leave her coven after the baseball encounter. James and Laurent were only her coven mates and she was tired of being shut down and used for their hunting games;
● She wasn’t expecting Carlisle to send her for their “cousins” and she was lying when she agreeded to go. Somehow, she ended up there anyway;
● Tanya was very cetical about letting her in, no matter if Carlisle had called her to explain beforehand;
● Irina saw her first, from behind her sister shoulder from the window at the living room. She opened such a big smile that Victoria thought she was insane. No one could be that happy in the after-life they had;
● They clicked right away. No drama, no time lost. They were completed mated in less than a week;
● Victoria only changed her diet because she didn’t want to take Irina away from her family. If she remained feeding from humans, they would have to leave before anyone started to ask questions, and Irina would be devasted about leaving her sisters behind;
● Victoria had a weird experience feeling her power start to include Irina into every decision, even on a instinct level;
● Irina got really sad when Victoria slipped on the diet, mustly because she didn’t even look sorry about it. When they were called to atend Edward’s and Bella’s marriage, Victoria was still exibiting red eyes with small traces of gold (and a smirk that unerved every human that crossed her path);
● When Edward said she was dangerous and should leave, Irina told him to fuck off, while Kate laughed at his face from behind her back;
● They are Rina and Vic to every Denali, but call each other "Honey". Kate finds it hilarious how sickenly sweet they are... until she meets Garret;
● They hold hands all the time and both glare at whoever look at then the wrong way, though Victoria only does that because she knows it bothers Irina. She couldn’t give a flying fuck about it but she would be damned if she let her mate have her day ruined by some idiot;
● They like to sit at the park and watch the humans just living their lives. Victoria will fake their conversations making it really funny. “Arold, stop farting on you hand and smeling it!”. Irina can’t stop laughing, dosen’t mater how silly it is;
● Victoria likes to lie down and just stay in silence somedays. Irina usually sit by her side while reading a book or a magazine until she feels like talking again;
● Irina loves shopping. During the time Victoria was having trouble beying at crowded places without killing anyone, she would take Carmen to go with her and made sure to always buy things Victoria may like. Meanwhile, Eleasar and Victoria were discussing over some chess game, until Victoria stormed out;
● They travel to England very offten. Victoria likes to see the place she was born change as time pass by. They walk holding hands and point the changes they notice since last time they were there;
● Irina have a small picture of Victoria and her at the London Eye (Millennium Wheel) placed inside her wallet;
● Victoria uses Irina’s fancy sweaters because it smells like her, but she still refuses to wear shoes unless they're going to the city;
● They like to go with Tanya at the city and point at people who they think may be her mate (until she gets mad and rolls her eyes, that’s when they know it's time to stop);
● Irina gives her a lot of noses kisses, specialy when they are at the supermarket pretending they are discussing on what cereal is the best and Victoria let’s her win (they like to amuse the local owner with their weekly discussion);
● Victoria doesn’t talk much about her life before becoming a vampire and she avoids giving too much details about the period she lived with James and Laurent, but she enjoys hearing Irina talk about all the adventures she found herself into along the years;
● Surprisingly, Victoria and Rosalie get along pretty well. When the Cullens are visiting, or when they go to them, both of them spend a lot of time together. Victoria learns a bit about cars and Rosalie gets to spend time with someone as direct as herself;
● Victoria thinks Kate is funny and a bit crazy, even admires how brave and well trained in combat she is, but they're not very close. She’s closer to Tanya, though Eleazar is probably the coven mate she spends more time with other than Irina;
● Irina is the one that regrets the most her time as a succubus. She gets really ashamed about it whenever people bring it up and feels really guilty about some of the thing she and her sisters did. Victoria tells her over and over again that she doesn’t care about what Irina did in the past, and that Victoria herself have done some pretty fucked up shit, but she learned to accept that this is something Irina have to work alone to get by;
● They get married at some point, many decades after they got together, and only because it has always been Irina’s dream to do so. Victoria doesn’t mind, but she would've gone by all her life without making it to the altar. No one proposes. They just decided to do it and that was it;
● It’s not until they're together for a few hundreds of years that Irina finally confesses that she wishes she could be a mother. Victoria doesn’t exactly get the feeling, but she replies that Irina would've been an amazing mother and that seens to be enough;
● Victoria has learned, since very soon into their relationship, that she would move mountains if Irina asked her to. It scared her at first. Later on, however, it makes her happy that she crashed into a baseball game one day.
