Deathroot - Iris; Arbor Blessing - Mercy
Deathroot :: What is the most horrifying thing the Nightmare can cause your character to see?
Iris Cadash - Spiders. Really big ones. Monstrous giant spiders. Her loved ones in a state of torment; herself, helpless to do anything about it. Iris is a protector, which meant being the muscle when she was with the Carta, and it means always putting herself in between danger and her people, and having her people between danger and her is the most terrifying thing she’s ever had to confront--and the one fear she’ll never be able to conquer.
Arbor Blessing :: What is the happiest ending you can think of for your character?
Mercy Trevelyan - Moving to Antiva with Josephine and growing old, becoming That Foreign Relative who no one can be really sure if they understand a word of what’s being said around her or not (she understands everything). Making her nieces and nephews shriek with delight when they ask what happened to her arm and she always has a snarky answer (Often looking frantically around as if she hadn’t noticed it was gone.) The arduous but rewarding process of learning to crochet lace. Being in a place with no Inquisition and no expectations and no weight of being anybody’s chosen one.
