“Don’t tell me everything is fine!” she said angrily finally at her snapping point, after being hunted, trapped in a box, and finding out that her whole life was a lie she was just not sure she was confident anymore. “Until you wake up finding out that your mother had been a mermaid or siren, or fucking whatever- and didn’t just abandon you but instead was made into a science experiment...until you’ve gone through that, nothing you can say about my situation can be taken seriously.” She’d grown up human, and yeah she’d hated her life, even been in and out of juvy but this was the next level that she couldn’t handle.

plot: once upon a time , and your muse was essentially the savoir or some important character but now is cursed and thinks they have this life outside of their cursed magical town. muse: iris / fictional character belle from beauty and the beast

“...it’s insane that you could have a family out thee that cares about you? fine, then let me be crazy - but what if it was true.” because the crazy thing to iris was that there was a world without magic. and the person in front of her didn't remember her or their original life “however, i’m going to come back here every day till you listen to me. so until then- i'll take another shot,” she said pouring back a lemon drop and made a face to match the sourness and burning sensation going down her throat.

She was scared, that was for sure, apparently the people in the town knew more than her. Because she always felt like they were walking on eggshells for years, and when she finally started digging as to why she found out a secret about her parents that she never imagined. But with the knowledge she was part siren came with the people who wanted to sell  her and another group who wanted to use her for science. And she had no idea which was which right now, but she had made eye contact with a familiar face as she was in the tank and mouthed the words, 'help me'.

On good days, she enjoyed her job - it was delightful in some cases, walking into court and being able to absolutely rip into someone, tearing their case apart and getting paid for the pleasure of leaving them near tears in her wake. But today had not been one of those days. It had been a day filled with meetings she hadn’t actually been needed at, clients who thought they knew the law better than her, and an absolutely incompetent intern who hadn’t even made it through two hours with her before she’d run off begging for another assignment. Arriving home - an hour after she usually did, just another thing to annoy her - Iris all but kicked off her heels, striding towards the bedroom, fully intending to use her toy to relax after the frustrations of the day. // @indismxt​

Not gonna lie, but I stole a bunch of bottles from work and have been drinking at the park for the past thirty minutes. I’m about to go home instead. Who wants to party it up? Who wants to have sexual intercourse? Only people I know, please inquiry. Or not, just come chill. Or just respond with something entertaining. Such as a joke or what horrible day you're having. Or if you have seen any Gods walking among you. I don't know.. you know... usual stuff.

Mother fuckers. Someone hijacked my bike while I was working today. I mean, I can find them, but that’s just a waste of the eternal time I have. They're so lucky I don't believe in murder because I would murder them. But if I did that, I'd bring them back to life.
