Nate smiled contently and pulled Iris in close. “I’m serious Iris, you look absolutely*incredible*” he assured her looking over at her fondly “I appreciate the compliment but I assure you my tree decorating skills have nothing to do with how stunning you are.”

Iris smiled wider as he pulled her in closer. "Thanks." She said softly. It still made her fairly uncomfortable to receive compliments but she'd never been happier than the time she was spending with Nate. She looked back at the tree before looking back at him. "That might be true but that doesn't mean that you didn't do an amazing job. What else should we decorate?"

Iris blushed, looking over at Nate before resting her head against his arm. "Thank you." She said softly before looking over at the tree. "I think it's mostly because you did such a good job with the tree."
