Ok! I wanna ask about Lawlu. Could you tell me in exact analytical detail and as close to canon as possible, why are they your OTP (and thus should be canon even-if-that's-impossible-but-would-be-nice). Why are they so great together. Elaborate. With serious answers. Go!
Oh boy,long time since I receive an ask about my favorite OTP in One Piece.So I need genuine information, ok we will take both the anime andmanga, well, let’s start. But first let me say that I thought neverfind a OTP with Monkey D. Luffy.
And ourfirst stop takes us to Shabondy, specifically our belovedauction house. We must pause to know that Trafalgar Law wasthere with his nakamas, like Eusstas Kid and his nakamas, and well, bothwere impressed by Luffy’s recklessness when hitting Tenryuubito was. Kid then comes out saying that he will take care of the Marineswho are outside the auction house. I at that time had no ship betweenthem, is more do not even thought they would end up being my favoriteOTP. Trafalgar decided to make an alliance between the two crews,I interpret it as a wedding but hey ;) The funny thing about this isthat Luffy’s crew was not what he expected xD can see that whenChopper was placed at his head.
Well wehave after this, the arc with that Peto Peto no Mi. A funfiller arc plus it was a lot of fan service. Fighting against eachother, etc.
Andfinally we have to Dressrosa. Law’s glorious past, and is notthat I believe in fate but both have the D in theirs names,that tells me something. Luffy worry when Doflamingo fired at Law, Iwas afraid even our great surgeon might die. Luffy then decided to gosave Torao. I can not forget how they fought together against Treboland Doflamingo. Magnificent.
And thenLaw began to cry, breaks my heart to remember, and just whenDoflamingo was going to hit him Luffy appears stopping the shoe.Well, nobody messes with Luffy’s nakama, but for me this scene wasvery special.
Andwhat else we have in this arc? Not only the remembrance Corazonhas with Luffy. Trafalgar saying he wanted to see Luffy succeed andif he lost he wanted to die at his side. If that did not seem aceremonial wedding vows, well, I have no idea what it is.
