Dad spam with a few of snaps from the past decade — the last one in particular is one of my faves cos he’s posing with his first love, the piano. And three of the four have something to do with his second love, Notre Dame. #goirish 💚 I don’t actually have any pics of me here in LA of me and my dad from when I was a little girl. But I do have my memories of so many moments watching him playing piano at an event or at home, or walking down the sidelines at a football game. His dad jokes and riddles, how he likes Shredded Wheat and Diet Coke, and hates mushrooms and tomatoes. How I used to try to count his freckles and failed to beat him at chess unless he told me what moves to make. But it’s not isolated points in time that make you love your dad, right? And so the highlight of my day has been FaceTiming with him. I love how technology enables us to stay in touch cos I can see him even tho he’s more thank 2,000 miles away on the other end of Route 66. I love my dad, y’all. #fathersday #happyfathersday #irishdads #blackirish #jazzmusician #ilovemydad #Dwyer
