Why do you think Crispin has so much paint on himself? Is it just from Edgar throwing too many paintings out the window?

Ohhh I never considered the possibility of it being paint or even dirt! That could be likely, but judging by the distance between Edgar's tower and where Crispin stands I doubt he makes much contact with the paintings. It could've been Lob's doing, or it could be that Crispin is just a grimy little man desperately in need of a bath

(Spawns in after not thinking about Dave for a couple years) I haven't seen the movie in forever, but was Dave exclusively raised in captivity? Or do you think he might have been a wild octopus when he was very young?

Ohhh neat question, I actually have never thought of this before.

Based on how he is in the films I really want to say he was born and raised in captivity. Reliance on human attention and love just hit to hard for poor Dave, and I can’t imagine baby Dave experiencing life in the wild with his own kind and then wanting to stay with people?

The only exception I could imagine Dave being a wild octopus being taken in by humans would be he was literally just born and since mother octopus just outright die after their eggs hatch he could have been an orphan. In THIS case imagine a diver coming up and just taking baby Dave with them in like a Finding Nemo scenario, but it’s not traumatic, actually nice, cause Dave is lonely... :(

I wonder if they sidelined Albearto after 'that' episode...

...The one where a bunch of Albeartos killed themselves so they wouldn’t have to listen to awful music, or are you referring to another ep? (I’m pretty sure you aren’t, but I just wanna make sure cause I can be kinda oblivious at times, lol)

But yeah, if they got some notes after that ep aired then yeahhhh I could see why they maybe wouldn’t want to bring him back. But that just makes me even more sad :( like yeah, we got a hilarious episode that’s honestly one of my faves, but we lost a pretty fun villain.
