If u've never heard this, Cameo is the closest group their sound reminds me of, but with it's own vibe. These women exude extreme 80s cool over all these tight grooves. Definitely a template for En Vogue & TLC (slide left & check their group pic for an example). I recently read that according to Bernadette Cooper (the drummer & attitude of Klymaxx), the late great Teena Marie was an uncredited advisor for the whole project which adds to it's coolness to me. Sux that this was their only release as a group. I really would've dug hearing more.
