I'm sick again and it sucks. Being immunocompromised sucks balls, even if I'm only mildly immunocompromised. Last time I got sick which was in August I got so dizzy at work that I fell. (That scared the crap out of my coworkers who otherwise seem to think I'm just dramatic) Lord knows what tomorrow will be like. (Yes I mask, sick or well)

Our attendance policy is hella brutal and my family is so strapped for cash that I pretty much have to work unless I'm dying 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I’d had two lectures at uni then i was seeing my boyfriend in the afternoon, half way through my first lecture I got a message from him ‘i had spicy sushi for lunch and it really messed with my tummy :/ ‘ I sent him a quick message letting him know I’d come over after class and for him to just take things easy. I was trying to focus but the thought of his belly kept distracting me. I had only been in my second lecture for 10 minutes when my phone buzzed again, his message read “I'm feeling worse. My stomach is rumbling like crazy, and I feel feverish.’ I figured since I wasn’t getting much done i would cut the day short and go see him. I packed up my stuff and went to his apartment, when I got there he was laid on the couch with his hand wrapped around his middle. I sat with him for a bit and nothing happened, I could see his belly was bloated against his shirt. He suddenly sat up, groaning and rubbing his belly. "I really need to use the bathroom," he mutters. "I'll be back." I was hoping he’d feel better after that as it usually helps him. Not long after I heard the bathroom door open again and he came out, looking defeated. He sat down next to me while still rubbing his stomach. "I tried, but I can't go," he groans. "I just had cramps”. I offered to rub his belly for him, to which he gladly agreed. He shifted on the couch so that I had better access to his stomach and let out a soft sigh as you begin to gently rub his belly. I could feel everything digesting in his bloated tummy and his skin felt very warm. The rest of the afternoon he had a few successful trips to the bathroom which helped him feel a lot better. There wasn’t much I could do except offer comfort during the times he was away from the bathroom.

5am flu update no one asked for:

Woke up absolutely sweating through my shirt. The sheets are damp with sweat and my t shirt is soaked.

I googled it, and apparently this is not uncommon with the flu, which even as a veteran sickfic writer, I did not know that

I also have the excellent luck of waking up with a migraine.

I have taken electrolytes and migraine meds (triptan)

Really not feeling very good right now. My nose is completely blocked, throat is on fire, now feeling sick from swallowing the meds and water

Oh hell, I just for the first time in goodness knows in how many years witnessed someone starting to very obviously and audibly come down with the cutest cold while spending an evening together (it's a hobby group of sort).

And we're talking about a Very Polite and Decent young man in his 20s, the rest of the company being us two middle aged ladies, so of course we blessed and fussed him endlessly. Before I would have been mortified, but nowadays I can go with the flow and be the absolute fuss I am at heart. (She's even worse/better than me though, the lady is an excellent fuss. That's one reason I have such a crush on her.)

Ah, the beauty of it. Hard to explain. I'm not into him because he's simply too young, but the absolute adorable coziness of the situation.

Hiii. I was watching the live from april where Jungkookie cooks the makugsu recipe for us, and there are two ✨️special✨️ moments:)

Around the 34:50 min he suddenly says "Im nauseous."

And at the 1:28:00 min he says "Oh Im full. If I will sleep like this I'll feel nauseous the next day again."... but like.. AGAIN? He has gone through something if this was going to be the second time? Did he got sick one time???

He said in a live from 2017 or 2018 idk exactly where, but he was with Hobi, it was his live and JK came in to talk a little bit with us, and Hobi was eating his dinner. When Hobi asked him to take one bite, after Kook said that it looks delicious, he said that he gets sick if he eats late at night. Maybe he got sick one time around that time?

The way he was all quiet before saying "I feel nauseous" 🤧 and then took a sip of his drink 🫢🥲

And when he said "I have really bad food coma." It reminds me of his live when he was saying how it's bad to eat late at night then go to sleep because you could get acid reflux 🏃‍♀️ (here's the link to that clip)

Well, it's officially cold season at my university

There are always one or more people coughing and sneezing on public transport or in the hallway of the building and there is one girl in my major who's been blowing her nose all week like every five minutes or so

You can't exactly hear her being stuffed up, but she always takes out an over-used tissue and keeps blowing her nose into it. She has been sitting next to me for almost every class and I swear, I can feel my nose getting runny and my throat becoming a bit scratchy

I really hope I haven't caught anything from her but I'm not so sure anymore...

It's making me really horny on one hand and very scared on the other. I dont have a free weekend until the end of October and I can't really afford to get sick right now

I catch a sore throat every fall, but I hoped I could last at least until October this time, but I might have to change my plans...

We had to send one of my colleagues home sick today.

He came sounding like death, all croaky and quiet. Turns out he had a ear/throat infection, the poor guy looked dead on his feet.

We send him home with a hot chocolate and told him to get some rest.
