Viola hummed as she walked along the coast, unsure of where they were headed but excited to see what it’d bring “Hay, Robin. You’ve been out on the ocean before, right? Can ye tell me what it’s like? Me an’Fluffy ain’t ever been off the mainland before.” She smiled looking back at the woman.

He’s already a little Luffy, he eats everything he can get his hands on, I don’t doubt he’ll go hunting for things when he gets a bit older, he’s already got the dog running scared.

It wasn’t every day he got a lead like this. It was almost a guaranteed success- a promise to something he loved dearly, even more than most of his crew, and there was no way he was about to give it up now. Treasure maps were often just as hard to find as the treasure they leaded to, and they were often the most frustrating part of the entire process. After that, of course, was making sure the map was legit, and then finding which island it was a map of… The rest of it was easy. This map in particular was won in a not-so-fair game in some not-so-noble town a few weeks earlier. Captain Buggy had lost very little in this endeavour so far, which seemed all too good to be true. He would be rich (again) within just a few weeks once he ensured the map was the real thing- all he needed was an expert archaeologist, as his own crew didn’t have that particular expertise on board.

The Buggy Pirates fit themselves in comfortably in a rather large pub on an island where the clown hoped to find said historian. They drank and sang, making themselves quite well known as the center of the party, riling everyone up in their own excitement. Little did they know that the Strawhats had also found their way to this small haven of a drinking port.
