Stephen sighed as he stepped into the lab slowly his fingers twisting && turning a smaller object in his hand as he stepped forwards to where Tony was tinkering away. His teeth chewed on the inside of his cheek for a moment as he considered his words, he didn’t want to come off angry but he knew that given the touchy subject he tended too -- too often. As he gently tapped the cool metal against his finger tips he stepped closer clearing his throat to make Tony aware of his arrive.  “ I imagine this is your doing ? “ he asked as he lifted the pen up in the air a bit waving it in Tony’s direction as he pressed his lips together.

            “ - Wasn’t gonna.” Though the fact that Tony felt the need to defend it implied some less than optimal things. It’s still not his business, though, and he tilts his head at the other, mirrored shades catching the light. “I been known to bring knives to bed, I ain’t about to judge too much.”

A little bit of shitty silliness never hurt.

Jamming his hands deeper into his pockets, he clears his throat, and the corner of his mouth twitches upward, just barely. Oh, memories. “Or, uh, should I be grabbin’ you a tampon, darlin’? Just say the word. I’ll rob a gas station blind in your name.”

            If anyone had told him he’d be talking to Tony Stark tonight, Remy would have laughed in their face and said no bet. And yet - 

Here he was, being proven very, very wrong, because they were an hour deep into a conversation that had begun with a billionaire with nothing better to do sliding right on up to him and saying, “What kind of guy are you?”

To which he’d (unwisely) responded “Take a guess,” more than a little bit amused at the circumstance and always willing to bait someone into a new game, of whatever type he could manage.

Which meant that now he was finding out that Tony had the kind of insight that came only from similar experience, and that things were hitting home easy as pie, and he’s pretty sure that maybe Tony was seeing past the image he has put up and is looking at the bright, bright brain he doesn’t like telling people he has.

The thief pauses, reaches for his glass, and reconsiders, letting it be. Sometimes drowning troubles only drug them deeper, and he was tired of all that, suddenly. Quirking a brow at the other, he smiles, a quick little turn of his mouth, warm but crooked. 

(Some things didn’t heal right, and it showed.)

“Mais oui. Well. I got a real bad track record with things as soon as I start to care, so, y’know. Figure maybe I shouldn’t at all, even if I wanna.”

PICK-UP LINES.

            “Looks comfy.” Which really just means that he’s already pushing Tony down while kissing him very thoroughly. The perks of being familiar - even the worst lines got accepted. “S’all good, we just gonna get it dirty again. Filthy, really.”

i seriously can’t choose i’m sorry. uh i’m super fond of birds and snakes in particular though. cats and dogs are also great!! tbh i just really like all animals i haven’t met anything i don’t like.

i also used to be very fond of most bugs but i am decidedly not anymore due to a series of really unfortunate incidents including a thing that happened with a tank of live maggots so uh yeah!! i love mammals and reptiles and feathery darlings but bugs can get fucked
